COAR with the financial support of UNICEF Afghanistan has implemented an earthquake emergency response sanitation project in the Geyan and Barmal districts of Paktika province. Totally 1930 vault latrines were constructed out of which1100 vault latrines were in Barmal and 830 in Geyan districts. The project was successfully completed and handed over by December 2022.
